Meet Dr. Stephanie Vega, D.C.
Originally from Statesville, North Carolina, Dr. Vega attended North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina where she graduated suma cum laude with a bachelors degree in Sports Science and Fitness Management. After graduation she started working in the physical therapy field for 2 years. During this period of time she also began to shadow a chiropractor in the area and realized she wanted a more hands on approach to health care. She continued her education and received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
At a young age she was introduced to chiropractic care due to a low back injury while playing soccer, "I wanted to recover faster and safer without the use of drugs or surgery." Since then chiropractic care has been part of her life.
Dr. Vega is certified through the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She is also certified in physiotherapies and modalities through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
She is married to Dr. Croes, and together they have a maltese named Julio. She is a loving and caring person who enjoys hiking, traveling, fitness, animals and spending time with her family.
